Transforming Coffee Stains into Monster Illustrations

No day goes by when one of the artists doesn't surprise us! The coffee stain, which we all have a curse on, was an inspiration for the German artist. Stefan Kuhnigk is someone who noticed that most of us could not see in coffee stains. As soon as he sees a coffee stain, he deems of creatures hidden in a brown spot. Of course, it wasn't an idea that came to his mind all of a sudden. In 2011, while at a meeting at the ad agency he works at, Kuhnigk accidentally spilled a cup of coffee on a paper. Rather than toss it in the garbage, Kuhnigk began to filling the missing shapes and lines to create his first coffee monster. Since then, he has been creating one monster in a day and now has a collection of more than 500 coffee creatures. He has a variety in his drawings, from the diabolical to the adorable.
